Workmatters – Helping Believers Find Purpose in Their Work

A veteran of the recruiting industry, Joe Goddard of Fayetteville, Arkansas, serves as managing partner of the Cardinal Group. In this role, he leads a Fayetteville company that operates Bronko Technology Consulting, Inc., and Cardinal Healthcare Group, Inc. Outside of his leadership role at the company, Joe Goddard contributes to several local organizations, including Workmatters.

Founded in 2002 at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, Workmatters quickly expanded to include members throughout Northwest Arkansas. Workmatters is a Christian organization that brings together believers who strive to find meaning in their work. The group sees work as a fundamental part of life and a way to worship God.

Workmatters ultimately helps individuals discover the Lord’s purpose for their work. Believing that God uses Christians in the workplace, the organization has established a goal of equipping 1 million Christians across 10,000 companies by 2025.

Workmatters attracts thousands of individuals to its live events and engages some 6,500 people a week through its blog posts and video content.

With 25 years of experience in the recruiting industry, Joe Goddard serves as managing partner of The Cardinal Group and Bronko Technology Consulting, Inc. in Fayetteville, Arkansas. In addition to his business pursuits, Joe Goddard of Fayetteville has participated on multiple non-profit boards of such groups as the Northwest Arkansas Touchdown Club and Workmatters.

Founded in 2002, Workmatters has steadily grown into a nationwide organization, emphasizing the Bible-based significance of work and the opportunity of benefiting society through industry. The non-profit organization aims to magnify the impact of daily labor by helping its members establish careers and become better leaders. To further this effort, Workmatters hosts two major events, a Leadercast and a forum.

The 2017 Workmatters Forum will convene on October 20th, and several entrepreneurs and executives of Fortune 500 companies will address those in attendance.
